Okay, it's been so long since I did anything here that my blog actually became "inactive!"
Just to keep something going, I'll post the penguin cupcakes I made for my son's second-grade class. The design is not mine - I got instructions from Hello, Cupcake by Alan Richardson and Karen Tack.
They were fun to make, but allow all day or 2 days to make them. You have to freeze them before dipping them upside down into melty frosting. The payoff is huge, however. I've never so impressed 8 year-olds.
